🩺 About Dr. Bianca Previdi

Compassionate. Insightful. Holistic.

I’m Dr. Bianca Previdi, a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with a deep commitment to helping people feel understood, seen, and supported. I provide care to older adolescents and adults across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, both in-person in Philadelphia and through secure virtual sessions.

My approach is rooted in the belief that symptoms are often signals of deeper emotional struggles, learned patterns, or unconscious conflicts—and that through insight, compassion, and connection, we can begin to heal. I aim to treat the whole person, not just their symptoms, with consideration for the psychological, biological, familial, social, nutritional, and spiritual aspects of health.

I work collaboratively with my patients to develop a treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, medication, lifestyle adjustments, and, when appropriate, recommendations for alternative or complementary approaches.

What I Treat:

  • Mood disorders: Anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders
  • Reproductive and perinatal mental health
  • PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
  • ADHD/ Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder
  • LGBTQI+ support
  • Life transitions and identity development
  • Parenting and intergenerational dynamics

I have a particular interest in working with people during emotionally complex stages of life, including those navigating the reproductive journey (pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, postpartum), early adulthood, and parenthood. My practice is inclusive, affirming, and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
